What began as a somewhat bogus but glorious present to myself for my 50th birthday swiftly transformed into my main obsession for these past months. I had not intended to publish, but as I chipped away at this work, often recording tracks in single takes after many playful patch and sequencer explorations, it seemed like the right thing to do.

As I experimented with synths and mixes and mastering chains, songs began to coalesce, and I smiled and cried and was able to surprise myself. In sharing this work with close friends and family, and receiving kind words of encouragement, I've learned that the greatest joy, for me, lies in finishing work and sharing it with everyone.

I didn't think I could do this, and I did, and I'm happy with the result.
It's a start, with a lot of space to grow and explore and experiment.

But for now, enjoy, and thank you very much for listening.
